THE RETURN OF COASTAL'S ECONOMICAL BACKBONE.

 

The Port of Mombasa under the Kenya Ports Authority(KPA) has stabbed poverty and amputated unemployment in many parts of Kenya, with its key role in improving the country's economy.

The Kenya Ports Authority, most remarkably, has plastered a marginal support among Mombasa residents, and the host have the sole benefit of enjoying a variety of handy jobs and professionalism as well. Loaders, for instance, have grown into the heart of KPA operations running the mother activity. Other professionals like marine engineers, safety officers and all viable lines of port operation have mainly been picked from Mombasa residents.The existence of Kenya Ports Authority and its Port of Mombasa gave bread and bed for the biggest lot of Kenyans, the common citizens comprising hawkers, food kiosks sellers to name but a few. Housing ideas arose from the residents who opted to rent plots for the workers.

The most iconic part of KPA's aid to Mombasa residents is its role in supporting talent as stakeholders and owning up club activities in Kenya's Bandari FC. The football club, among other sports supported by KPA, has marketed Mombasa talents to regional levels. 

The existence of world class machinery in the region has granted KPA the prestige of other big companies, shoving it into providing medical services for Mombasa residents, more also its employees. The workers union of KPA has given the workers the democracy of implementing external issues that scoop support for  Mombasa residents.

Generally, Kenya Ports Authority has become an awakening for entrepreneurial activities among Mombasa residents, alongside employing a large number. It is worth an applaud for sustaining ₩₩livelihoods.
