THORNS OF LOVE IN CAMPUS
Most students in campus try to cope with life by getting themselves in a relationship only to end up performing husband _wife duties which isn't that bad.... , but some turn out to be toxic , we have seen on TV and also we have heard news on radio several times reporting high rate of suicide amongst campus students, the route of all these is usually toxic relationships..
What the students should learn is to speak up,say something when you see something fishy, don't stick in a violent relationship that will coast your life or rather affect you mentally.
As students, we should invest time in building meaningful relationships on campus, other than being in a toxic relationship, we can consider building relationships with those that fuel and share your passion because after graduation, those people will be the ones to tell your skills to the world. You need to master the skills of networking and building strong networks that would last the test of time.
Sometimes it might be tricky to recognise an unhealthy or toxic relationship with a romantic partner ๐ , what we should know is a toxic relationship is one that will make you feel unsupported, misunderstood or even attacked.Ie.. any relationship that makes you feel worse rather than better can become toxic overtime, it's important to make a move when you feel your feelings are being played with rather than sticking with that partner whom will end up making your life miserable.

Its Nice madam,, Dont you try that
ReplyDeleteOkay๐
DeleteVery true

ReplyDeleteThe factor here is money, "sponsorship" is real. Watoto watulie, masomo kwanza
ReplyDeleteYes sure! Other things will come automatically,
DeleteToxic, rich and romantic partners have thrown campus students into dilemma on whether to stop the relationship and forget about the money and romance or persevere amd sometimes they even get hurt and worse of killed. Great writeup Dyanร .
ReplyDeleteYes sure!

ReplyDeleteAssuming wifely duties to a "boy" just doesn't add up to me
ReplyDeleteSplendid.
ReplyDeleteBut again theirs life after school ..is there anything wrong with learning wifi things?
ReplyDeleteI think there's time for everything. At that age most of us are clueless and we don't know what we truly want in a relationship therefore ,Education should be our first priority for success ๐
ReplyDeleteMost students end up being victims of Toxic relationships by choice. We have a number of reasons that lead to toxic relationships, which I'm not even sure if it exists. First, each and every normal lady will fall for a romantic man inspite of any unhealthy behaviours. Ladies end up Saying "ATABADILIKA TU".
ReplyDeleteSecond, Financial aid, "SPONSOR". Millennials won't mind being slapped daily but in return have privileges to visit those fancy places, put on Turkish trends, drive the 4X4 SUVS.
Any toxic relationship is an individual choice.
Nice article
ReplyDeleteVery true,,,,nice article
ReplyDeleteNice piece of work and very informative.Students should also seek advice from people outside their friend circle to help them have an independent opinion and unbiased to help them make an informed choice and decision.
ReplyDeleteAwesome piece. Would love to see the next one
ReplyDeleteNice piece, would love to see more of this
ReplyDeleteI might as well blame the parents..if you take good care of your child and inform them well they wouldn't tolerate a toxic relationship in the first place..why ? They have been brought up well with love..show your kids love so that they understand that financial gains of whichever sort and abusive relationship at the expense of getting financial needs cannot amount to love that they have experienced since
ReplyDeleteYes sure! Hard on this ๐ค
DeleteThats great oohh
ReplyDeleteHi content inakaa personal experience, nice piece, as a journalist u should be objective in ur writing, after identifying a social issue it's only right you come up with possible remedies.

ReplyDeleteThis is well spoken, we get something important out of it.
ReplyDeleteThe Peer pressure, the devil himself.
ReplyDeleteIssa good article
Personally I think all these are due to peer pressure and lack of self control among university students. Human person is a sexual being by nature and as such is always attracted towards it. This he cannot overcome with human powers but only through the grace of his/ her creator. That is God. Therefore, university students should and must entrust there sexual arges to God who and only who is the ultimate source of humanity.
ReplyDeleteVery informative. Economy also plays part in making someone toxic. Come to think of it, you loose yourself in trying to find balance. AWUORO!

ReplyDelete"Cham tichulo gidendi" as one of a popular musician from my home county puts it has become the norm. Students should master the art of working had to earn the softlife they are obsessed with
ReplyDeleteVery well spoken ๐
DeleteVery informative but too short and lacks relevant statistical analysis to it.
